Julie Guay, known as Mad Lips 21, is a digital artist and creative entrepreneur based in Montreal. With a background in interior and visual design, she turned to digital art to merge creativity, emotion and ecological consciousness. Her visual language blends contemporary and neo pop influences with a touch of the psychedelic, often drawing inspiration from nature, fashion and the quiet emotional landscapes that shape human experience.
 

In 2021, she founded Mad Lips 21 as both a digital brand and an artistic identity dedicated to exploring emotional scars, memory and the fragile strength of the human spirit. Working with tools like Photoshop, Procreate and Illustrator, Julie creates vivid and introspective imagery that evokes a sense of power, beauty and vulnerability.
 

In 2025, she completed the Desjardins Entrepreneur Path, an eight-week program focused on leadership, strategy and creative innovation. This milestone strengthened the business foundation of Mad Lips 21 and further defined her role as a visionary entrepreneur in the evolving Web3 landscape. It also supported the growth of NXT, her next-generation NFT drop discovery app that helps creators and collectors connect through curated, emotionally driven digital experiences.
 

Julie is the creator of the NFT collection X Lovers and the sci fi comic series The Last City. Her work has been featured in international virtual exhibitions, and each piece sold through Mad Lips 21 contributes to global reforestation in partnership with One Tree Planted. Across her projects, from immersive storytelling to NXT’s Web3 platform, she continues to build experiences where art, emotion and technology meet to reveal new ways of seeing the world.
